These terms are an agreement between you and CricStream ("the app", "we", "us") covering your use of the CricStream mobile app on iOS and Android. By creating an account, scoring a match, or starting a stream, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
We may change these terms. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new version.
"Your content" means everything you put into the app: team and player names, scores and ball-by-ball records, profile and team photos, and the video and audio you broadcast.
You keep ownership of your content. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service — to store your content, and to show it to the other players, scorers and followers of the matches it belongs to. We do not claim ownership, and we do not license your content to anyone else.
You confirm that you have the right to post what you post, including the right to enter another player's name into a squad and to broadcast the footage you stream.
Streaming in CricStream sends video from your device directly to your own YouTube channel. The broadcast is created on your YouTube account using the permission you grant when you connect it. We do not host, record, store or re-publish your video at any point.
This means your streams are governed by YouTube's own rules as well as these terms:
A copyright claim, strike or takedown on a stream is handled by YouTube and applies to your channel. You can review or revoke CricStream's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
We cannot guarantee that a stream will start, stay connected, or reach any particular quality. Streaming depends on your device, your network and YouTube's service, and all three are outside our control.
Do not use CricStream to stream, upload or post:
Also do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the app or its servers, or use automated tools to scrape data from it.
If you see a match, stream, team or player name that breaks the rules in section 5, report it from inside the app, or email ravisfortune@gmail.com with the subject "Content report" and a link to or description of the content.
We review reports and aim to respond within 3 business days. Depending on what we find, we may leave the content in place, remove it, or suspend or delete the account behind it. Reports about a YouTube video itself are best sent to YouTube as well, since they control the video and we do not.
If you believe content in the app infringes your copyright, email the same address with "Copyright" in the subject, identifying the content and your rights in it.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms. Where it is reasonable to do so we will warn you first, but serious cases — content involving minors, credible threats, or repeated infringement — may be actioned immediately.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. What is deleted and what is kept is set out in section 7 of our Privacy Policy.
A match belongs to everyone who played in or followed it, not only to the person who scored it. Scorecards therefore remain available to those participants after the match ends, and are not removed when one participant deletes their account — they are unlinked from that person instead.
Scores are entered by hand by whoever is scoring. We do not verify them, and we make no promise that any scorecard, statistic or record in the app is accurate.
CricStream is free and shows ads served by Google AdMob. What AdMob collects is described in our Privacy Policy. We do not control which specific ads are shown to you.
The app is provided "as is". We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost, and we may change or discontinue features. Keep your own record of anything you cannot afford to lose.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data, for lost profit or opportunity, or for anything arising from a stream that failed, a scorecard that was wrong, or content posted by another user. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
